Issue #0 - Introduction

Here is our first weekly newsletter. I am sure these will evolve in the coming weeks and months as we iron out any wrinkles and create more processes and systems but this is something I am extremely excited about. This is the only issue that will look like this. In fact it is more of an into here. I want you to know about me.

You see for the last four years I have been working in the affiliate marketing space in one way or another. My first year I was building some affiliate sites with limited success. Year two I was brought on to a young software company as an Affiliate Marketing Manager in the golf niche and relocated to the heart of Utah in the Silicon Slopes area. Half way through my third year I started working at another software company in the banking and finance niche as their Affiliate Marketing Manager. In my fourth year (the last year) I began working as a Senior Advisor for a coaching program (in the affiliate marketing space) led by one of the  industry's leading coaches and gurus.

Want to know what all of this experience revealed to me?

It revealed three things:

1. The affiliate marketing industry is full of unethical advice, inexperienced coaches, complicated trainings, spammers looking for a quick buck and more people lost and confused than you can shake a stick at.

2. Successful affiliate marketing is not that hard.

3. There is more than one right and successful way to create an affiliate marketing business online. In fact there are dozens and dozens of ways to ethically and successfully create and online affiliate marketing business. You just need to follow what is already working and proven, while staying aware of what is trending and emerging as new and possible.

Here at The Affiliate Wire we strive to give you all three of those things.

How this newsletter is going to work is each week we will have a new issue. It will be a sub-issue of the premium monthly issue that comes out at the end of every month.

When will the newsletter officially launch?

The Affiliate Wire Newsletter will officially launch in January with the first issue and I am excited because I have been hard at work making sure that I provide as much value to you as a reader and subscriber.
